You may have noticed that I haven’t posted in a while!  I have been working hard on my calling as the Food Storage and Preparedness Specialist for my ward.  It’s been a lot of fun and a lot of work!  I created a blog – www.preparednotscared.blogspot.com and have prepared a new post for each day of the week.

Each day of the week will focus on a different area of preparedness.  Our goal is to be prepared as a family both physically and spiritually.

Here’s a rundown of what you can expect:

Sunday: Vital Records Pages and Journal Pages

Monday: Family Home Evening Lessons

Week 1: Primary Theme & Scripture

     Week 2:  Safety & Preparedness

Week 3:  For the Strength of Youth/Mormonads

     Week 4:  Family History

Week 5:  Family Service Project or Family Activity

Tuesday: Ark Prep 101 – Preparedness Topics

Wednesday:  Preparedness Project

Thursday:  Family Activities

Friday:  Preserve It . . . Canning Corner

Saturday:  Food Storage Meals & Menu Planning

By the end of the year, you should be well on your way to becoming more prepared!

We have added a link on the left side of the page.  Hope you enjoy!

CLEARANCE SALE!! (No Comments)

Hello My Heart & Home Friends!

Happy New Year!  We hope your holidays were fabulous and your New Year’s resolutions are going well.  As a company, we are also making some New Year’s resolutions.  One of them is spending more time with our families.  We have had an amazing journey over the past 6 years!  We have been able to create products, teach classes and help families from all over the country.  We have loved every minute of it.  As we reflected on what we wanted for this year and for the future, we decided that we need to let something go. I’m sure all of you busy moms out there can relate!  We have too many things going and so it is time for us to refocus.

We have decided that we are going to phase out the product side of our company.  Because of this decision, we are having a huge CLEARANCE SALE ON EVERYTHING!!!  We have reduced all of our inventory and will sell it until it is gone or until March 30th, whichever comes first.  Once an item is gone, it’s gone for good, so act fast and stock up! :)   You are welcome to request an item you no longer see on our website.  If it is easy for us to publish we see no problem publishing that for you.  However, we reserve the right to say no to the more labor instensive items we have.  Log on to our website (myheartandhome.com) and check it out.  Make sure that when you are looking at an item, that you check the quantity.  It is listed at the beginning of the description. We are trying to keep these current each day so that you know how many we have left in stock.  We still have some fabulous things left.  Here are a few items still available:  10 Steps to Organized Work book, chore pads, chore incentives, many of our notepads and much more!

I do want to stress that this is NOT the end!  We will not be carrying our products any longer, but we will continue to share our tradition ideas, FHE lessons, recipes and organizing tips through our blog.  We do have some lose ends that we are working through, so we will not be posting to our blog during January.  Beginning February 1st, we will begin to blog again.  We will continue 10 Steps to Organized starting with step 4, where we left off in September.  We love blogging and we love hearing from you.  We want our blog to be a place where we can all share ideas.

We want you to know how much we appreciate our customers.  We hope you understand our decision and know that we still want to share ideas and be able to teach now and then.  We have all felt that this was best decision for our families at this time.  Thank you for taking this journey with us!  We are looking forward to the next phase!

Sincerely,

Tricia, Carrie, Tracey and Valerie

To all our My Heart and Home Fans and Customers,

We LOVE you, and have really enjoyed being able to share ideas and new products with you each week.  This summer will be a really busy one for Tricia, Tracey, Valerie & Carrie.  In order to make sure we are mom’s first we have decided to take the summer off from our blog as far as a Monday – Thursday posting.  Tricia’s calling is the Food Storage/Preparedness Specialist in her ward, so she will continue to post weekly ideas in preparedness and food storage.  (We will just be a little more relaxed on our posting schedule.)  Don’t worry . . . if we have a great idea we can’t wait until the end of summer to share . . . YOU WILL BE THE FIRST TO KNOW!  We hope you all have a wonderful summer and enjoy our lastest posting and FREEBIE of our Summer Chore Chart.  It has been a favorite of ours!  Remember to become a fan of our page on facebook.  We will resume our postings in August sometime, and yes, we will continue with our Step 4 videos as well.

Also, as side note, we would love to be able to send out weekly emails of the upcoming postings for our blogs, and or updates on new products, workshops, open houses, or even special sales events.  For those who wouldn’t mind getting a weekly email, email us at support@myheartandhome.com and tell us you would like to be on our weekly email list.

As always, please feel free to email us with any questions or suggestions as well as posting comments on our blog articles.  We LOVE to hear from you!
